Where do creative placemakers in New York City gather to share ideas and support one another? We don't know either. So we have started working with colleagues from some nonprofit organizations in the city to help build a community of practice for creative placemaking.
We have been building a professional community in New Jersey for a year, and now have more than 200 members around the state.We are planning an event in late January or early February to bring together creative placemakers in New York City to share their insights and talk about what resources they need to be more successful (besides funding, of course.)
